Cal Poly rips UNC 56-28

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. (AP) -- Deonte Williams ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns to help Cal Poly improve to 6-0 with a 56-28 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday.

Cal Poly (6-0, 4-0 Big Sky) kept pace with Eastern Washington atop the Big Sky Conference, racked up 519 yards of total offense. Andre Broadous was 9 of 12 for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

Tied 14-14 after the first quarter, the Mustangs outscored Northern Colorado (1-5, 0-3) 28-0 in the second and third quarters to take a 42-14 lead.

Bears quarterback Seth Lobato was 27 of 37 for 278 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked three times by Sullivan Grosz.
