DENVER (AP) -- Denver scored four straight goals to post a 5-2 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Michigan Tech on Saturday.

Shawn Ostrow, Joey LaLeggia and David Makowski had a goal and an assist apiece for Denver.

The game was tied 1-1 midway through the first period before the Pioneers strung together four straight goals to go up 5-1.

The Huskies (2-4-0, 1-3-0) outshot the Pioneers for the second straight night, but watched as Denver (4-0-0, 2-0-0) skated away with a sweep of their weekend series. Denver won 5-1 on Friday.

Denver goalie Adam Murray made 36 saves, while Pheonix Copley made 23 stops for Michigan Tech.
