COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting in Colorado Springs.
Officers said they were patrolling in the area of Vermijo and Chestnut around 3:50 Sunday morning when they heard several gunshots.
A short time later, they said they found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to the hospital with serious to potentially life threatening injuries.
The victim's name and age have not been released.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit of CSPD spent the morning conducting interviews.
The address released by the police department, 628 W. Vermijo Street, is that of the Sin City Deciples Clubhouse.
According to the police blotter, officers were at that same address at 3:30 Sunday morning for a reported robbery.
No additional details have been released.
