COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police arrested seven people for criminal trespass after they were found hiding in a home Sunday evening.

At about 5:20 p.m., police were called to a home in the 1200 block of Lehmberg Boulevard, near Galley Road and Babcock Road, to a possible in-progress burglary. Police said they noticed signs that indicated people were inside.

After several attempts to contact the occupants of the home, police were able to get inside.

Seven people were found inside. Two were found hiding in the home and a third person was found hiding in the access trying to exit throught the roof. That person was discovered to have been wanted on unrelated outstanding warrants police said.

All seven people were arrested for First Degree Criminal Trespass. Six of those people were juveniles. Police said one was a former tenant of the home who had been evicted.

William Bull was the only person identified as an adult.

The homeowner was not living at the residence at the time, police said.
