COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police arrested a man after he led them on a chase with a stolen vehicle early Thursday morning.
At about 1 a.m., an officer started following a reported stolen vehicle when the vehicle started to make multiple traffic violations.
The officer then attempted to stop the vehicle but it refused to stop. The pursuit was soon terminated because of road conditions and traffic.
After the pursuit ended, the officer saw the suspects jump out of the moving vehicle and run. Another officer was able to catch the driver, Anthony Ortiviz.
Ortiviz was charged with Theft by Receiving and he had an outstanding warrant. The passenger of the vehicle was not caught, police said.
