COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police arrested two felons after they fled from a stolen vehicle and hid in a nearby basement.

At about 11:15 Tuesday evening, a CSPD officer saw two men getting out of a vehicle at the intersection of Airport Road and Murray Boulevard. The men ran east on Airport Road as the vehicle rolled into the curb on Murray Boulevard.

Officers, with the assistance of a K-9 officer, followed the track and ended up at a nearby home in the 600 block of Welsh Circle. Police said the two men who were running from the vehicle were found in the basement of the home.

James Jones and Enasio Solarzano, both 19, were arrested for outstanding felony parole violation warrants. Police said the vehicle that they were driving was reported stolen on Jan. 25.
