CASTLE ROCK, COLO. -- A person of interest is being sought in a Wednesday morning shooting near Castle Rock.

Christopher Lyle Fields, 27, was identified as a person of interest. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black stocking cap and carrying a backpack. Police said he was lasts een drivign a silver Toyota Corolla with license plate number 981JBW or a Blue Kawasaki motorcycle with license plate number 561YDJ.

Police said Fields is considered armed and dangerous. People are not advised to make attempts to apprehend him.

Wednesday morning at about 8:08, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said it was notified of a shooting that happened in the 300 block of Inverness Parkway. A perimeter was set up around the area and a woman was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
