COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man Tuesday morning for trying to break into a home.

According to officers, 42-year-old Brant Weeden broke the glass window pane on the front door of a home in the 600 block of Pine Street around 2:52 a.m. He reached his hand into the inside to try to unlock the door, but the woman and her son used their body weight to keep him from opening it.

Weeden ran off, and officers set up a perimeter to look for him.

An officer in the area of North Spruce Street and West Platte Avenue saw a man matching Weeden's description and determined he was the one who tried to break in.
