CARSON, CALIF. (AP) -- Robbie Keane scored early in the first half, Christian Wilhelmsson added another goal early in the second half, and the Los Angeles Galaxy posted its fourth consecutive shutout in a 2-0 victory Friday night over Colorado.

Keane scored on a Landon Donovan pass in the 15th minute and Wilhelmsson, a member of the Swedish national team making his MLS debut, tallied from a long pass from Marcelo Sarvas in the 58th minute as the Galaxy (14-11-4), missing David Beckham because of a sprained ankle, climbed into third place in the Western Conference.

Sarvas slid to block Conor Casey's shot on an open net in the 79th minute as the Galaxy extended their shutout streak to 363 minutes, all competitions. They have shut out their past three MLS opponents.

The Rapids (9-18-2) are seventh in the nine-team West, one point ahead of Chivas USA and two in front of Portland.
