AIR FORCE ACADEMY, COLO. (AP) -- Air Force athletic director Hans Meuh has seen enough to remove the interim title of men's basketball coach Dave Pilipovich.
The contract is still being finalized.
Pilipovich took over after Meuh fired coach Jeff Reynolds on Feb. 8 and he won two of his first three games, including a 58-56 thriller over then-No. 13 San Diego State, the program's first win over a top-20 team in 65 tries.
Prior to joining the Falcons coaching staff five years ago, Pilipovich spent two years on Tommy Amaker's staff at the University of Michigan.
