    Tuesday, February 23, 2010  As part of the festivities, the Sky Sox will give away collectible figurines of Gossage to the first 1,500 fans entering the park for the evening’s 7:05 p.m. game against the New Orleans Zephyrs. In addition, Gossage will be on hand for the evening to throw out a first pitch and sign autographs for Sky Sox fans.

    Wednesday, January 06, 2010  The U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) Tuesday named Scott Blackmun, a prominent sports executive and former USOC leader, as Chief Executive Officer. Blackmun returns to the USOC where he previously spent three years, including serving as Acting Chief Executive Officer from November 2000 - October 2001. He first joined the USOC in September 1998 as general counsel and director of legal affairs, and in 2000, he moved into the role of senior managing director where he was responsible for sport operations and resource allocation to NGBs and athletes.
