Cash stolen from Colorado Springs DMV

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating a burglary at a branch of the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder's Office that happened early Sunday morning.

Office officials said the burglar broke a glass window to get into the office and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Union Town Center Motor Vehicle Office in the 8800 block of North Union Boulevard.

No personal information was stolen.

The office is working with the police department to investigate, but no other information was made available.
