Campers who started Cold Springs Fire plead guilty to arson

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- The two men arrested for starting the Cold Springs Fire have pleaded guilty to felony arson.

Officials say 28-year-old Jimmy Andrew Suggs and 26-year-old Zackary Ryan Kuykendall from Alabama were camping in the area and did not put out their campfire.

The July wildfire flared up and burned over 500 acres, destroying 8 homes near Boulder.

Both men have been sentenced to three years of probation.
