COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are searching for the man wanted in a Tuesday afternoon murder.

Preston Deangalo Johnson is wanted for Murder in the First Degree, police said.

It was Tuesday afternoon when 26-year-old Ivan Ortiz was killed after being shot, police said.

 Police said it happened at an apartment in the 2500 block of King Street, near 19th Street and Uintah Street, at around 4:30 p.m.

His death marked the city’s 10^th homicide in 2013.
