COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A statue depicting a little girl was recovered on Tuesday by a local scrapper and the police are searching for its owner.
Police said they checked with the City, the Downtown Partnership and the Pikes Peak Library District to see if it was theirs.
It is believed to be from someone’s backyard or garden artwork, police said.
An item, perhaps an apple, was removed from its right hand. Something was also removed from its left shoulder, possibly a bird.
Information on this statue can be reported to Detective Jerry Yeager at 444-7295 or Detective Dennis Mallet at 444-7298.
