CANON CITY, COLO. -- The Canon City Police Department conducted an undercover sting operation Thursday which resulted in six arrests.

Officers posing as flower delivery persons attempted to contact local individuals with outstanding warrants.

Many of these individuals had evaded law enforcement contact for several months.

Officers made four physical arrests, on individual was arrested by out outside agency and one turned themselves in to the Fremont County Detention Center.

Those arrested were:

Carlos Leal, Larceny

Patrick McGarry, Traffic

Juvenile female, Drugs

Rene Veenstra, Forgery

Courtney Campbell, DUI

Jamie Nelson, Theft/fraud
