DENVER -- Denver Police have confirmed two children and a mother are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in north Denver.

A third child was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Our sister station in Denver reports the shooting took place at a duplex located at East 50th Avenue and Pearl Street shortly before 7  a.m. on Wednesday morning

During a news conference, police confirmed the shooting was a murder-suicide involving a mother and children.

Police have not released the names of the mother and children involved.
