COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are looking for a suspect involved in a crime spree Saturday night in and near the Stetson Hills Neighborhood.
Officers were first called to the intersection of Palmer Park Boulevard and Potter Drive just after 4:00 p.m. for a carjacking.
Police said the suspect took the victim's car, a black 2009 Subaru Outback, at gunpoint.
Then, an hour and a half later, at 5:40 p.m. the CSPD got a call from JoAnn Fabrics on Bloomington Street for a robbery there.
Investigators said the suspect was armed with a handgun, took cash, and left in a black Subaru station wagon.
Finally, 20 minutes later, at 6:00 p.m. the King Soopers on Stetson Hills Boulevard was robbed by a man with a handgun who once again left in a black Subaru Outback.
The suspect in all three robberies is decribed as a black male, between 5'4" and 5'7", with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie or black coat, black pants, black gloves, a scarf, and a dark colored hat or beanie.
The license plates on the stolen Subaru are from Wyoming and read 516561.
