COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Three people were arrested Monday evening after stolen weapons were found during a traffic stop.

At about 10:30 p.m., Monday, police stopped a Maroon Buick sedan at Astrozon Bl and the Hancock Expressway. Police discovered the driver of the car did not have a valid driver's license or insurance.

A search of the vehicle revealed three guns. Two of those guns were reported stolen during recent burglaries, police said. A fourth gun was being carried by one of the vehicle's passengers. It was defaced, police said.

Three of the four people inside the car were arrested on weapons related charged.
