Calhan man gets 22 years in love triangle murder

EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- A Calhan man, who shot his girlfriend's lover was sentenced Monday.
Mark Manyik, 42 was sentenced to 22 years in prison. He was found guilty of second-degree murder in October for the death of Robert Miles.
According to testimony, Manyik and his then-girlfriend, Traci Adams conspired to kill Miles outside Manyik's home.
It happened in the 15000 block of North Ellicott Highway.
Miles was shot in the abdomen with a shotgun and died in a helicopter en route to a Colorado Springs hospital.
Adams is serving a life sentence after her trial in August.
