COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man Tuesday afternoon for stealing drugs from a local pharmacy.

According to officers, 29-year-old Philip Rowe came into the Medicine Shoppe on North Wahsatch Avenue around 1:50 p.m., pulled out a gun and demanded drugs. He left on foot.

Witnesses called officers and told them what happened, providing Rowe's description. Officers used a K-9 unit to track him down and arrest him for robbery.

Officers said they also found several stolen items on him when they caught him.
