COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for at least two people accused of breaking into several cars and stealing one in the northern part of the city.

According to officers, someone reported seeing two men breaking into cars Lamplight Square at the Park Apartments on Twin Oaks Drive around 1:07 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers found the suspects' car abandoned in a nearby apartment complex. They determined the car had been stolen Monday and had two stolen guns, electronics and jewelry inside.

Officers said at least five cars in the area had been broken into. The suspects are still on the run.
