COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a woman Sunday evening in connection with a stabbing.

According to officers, 26-year-old Brandi Roever stabbed her 47-year-old boyfriend in the chest around 8:49 p.m. during an argument in an apartment on University Drive.

Officers found the man in the apartment and had him taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released.

Detectives continued the investigation and arrested Roever on a first degree assault charge.
