EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies have released the name of the woman who died in a house fire in Widefield last week.

Deputies said 64-year-old Linda McDowell didn't make it out of her burning home early in the morning on Oct. 4.

Five family members escaped the burning house on Cielo Vista Street, but McDowell died inside.

McDowell's death and the fire itself are still under investigation.

Three other family members were hospitalized.
