COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said the woman responsible for a bank robbery in the city Thursday was arrested later in the day.
Officers said a woman robbed Adams Bank & Trust on garden of the Gods Road Thursday.
They said Fountain Police made contact with 56-year-old Rosi Lei at a Fountain motel Thursday, and she told them she was involved in a robbery. They found a large amount of cash with her.
Lei's boyfriend went to Colorado Springs Police at about the same time and told them he thought Lei had been involved in a robbery after he gave her a ride to the bank earlier in the day.
Fountain officers took Lei to Colorado Springs, where she will be charged with robbery.
