COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said a man wanted on an outstanding warrant crashed a car during a chase Wednesday morning.

Officers said the suspect was wanted for several robberies. They saw him near the intersection of Byron and Pikes Peak Avenue Wednesday morning, but he got into a truck and took off before they could detain him.

The suspect lost control of his truck while going north on Murray Boulevard and went off the road, over a car, through a fence and crashed in front of La Cresta Mobile Estates after going through a bush south of Bijou Street.

Officers did not give any other details about the crash and did not elaborate on injuries.
