AIR FORCE ACADEMY, COLO. -- The Air Force Academy announced Wednesday it will allow overnight tailgating for the Navy football game, which iss set to start at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 6.

According to Academy officials, anyone with a reserved tailgate spot or anyone who wants to bring an RV in will be allowed to park and tailgate overnight on Friday, Oct. 5. However, they have to show a valid Department of Defense ID.

Overnight tailgaters must be there by 7 p.m. Friday and can't inferfere with traffic coming into the lots Saturday morning.

Tents are allowed in tailgate areas.

Fans who want to tailgate should contact events management at (719) 333-9537.

Officials said security will be in place all night, and the stadium lights will be left on.

Anyone who is not associated with the DOD can arrive Saturday morning.
