WOODLAND PARK, COLO. -- Woodland Park Police officers said a man tried to get a girl to get into his car Thursday afternoon.
According to officers, a man pulled up to a 14-year-old girl who was walking on West Kelleys Road around 2:10 p.m., opened the passenger door and motioned for her to get in.
The girl pulled out her cell phone, which caused the driver to speed away. He was last seen driving north on Chippewa.
The man's car is a black, four-door Toyota 4Runner with dark tinted windows and a dirty or covered Colorado license plate.
The girl was not hurt.
