A 12 year old girl is safe after she fell into a cactus overnight and could not get free.

Colorado Springs Police say an officer was checking an area near Powers and Barnes on a separate call about 1:30 Wednesday morning when she heard a female calling for help.  Officers found the girl stuck in a large cactus, unable to free herself.  They carried her to a nearby road, where an ambulance was called because the girl had so many cactus spines stuck in her.  The girls guardians were called to the hospital.

She apparently had walked away from her home, and the extent of her injuries is unknown.
