COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have released the name of the man who was hit and killed by a car in what they're saying looks to be his fault.

According to officers, 53-year-old Steven Wood was hit by 60-year-old Betsy Collins' Jeep at the intersection of 8th Street and Lower Gold Camp Road in southwest Colorado Springs Sunday.

Officers said the preliminary investigation shows Collins had the right of way, but the investigation is ongoing.

Collins has not been charged and was not hurt in the crash.
