COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have released the name of the man whose body was found behind a Walmart in what they're now calling a homicide.

Officers said John Knudsen, who was in his 50s, was killed, but they don't have any suspect information.

Officers responded to the Santa Fe Trail behind the 8th Street Walmart around 11 a.m. Wednesday and immediately became suspicious when they saw Knudsen's body.

The El Paso County Coroner said Knudsen was stabbed to death. Anyone with information related to his death should contact police at (719) 444-7000.
