COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was house sitting early Wednesday morning.

According to the woman, a man knocked on the door of the house she was sitting at in the 2800 block of Tumbleweed Grove around 2:33 a.m. She answered and talked to him briefly before he forced his way in.

Officers gathered evidence and used the woman's description of the man to identify and arrest 18-year-old Darrell Hosten for first degree sexual assault, first degree burglary and first degree assault. He was also wanted on a felony probation violation.

The woman said he attacked her, sexually assaulted her and took some of her personal items before leaving.
