COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said the number of burglaries in vacated homes and cars during the Waldo Canyon Fire has gone up to 85.

Officers said the number increased after further research in updating and determining which cases had a direct correlation to the evacuations.

Officers said the 85 burglaries breaks down to 43 in vehicles and 42 in homes. The numbers are final.

There were no reports of vandalism in the evacuated areas.
