COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman is recovering from serious injuries after she fell off the back of a motorcycle Friday night.

It happened just after 8:00 p.m. on the I-25 off ramp at Circle Drive.

Police said 22-year-old Michael Hinton was driving his motorcycle recklessly when his passenger, a 20-year-old woman, fell off and tumbled along the road.

The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Hinton meanwhile was arrested and charged with vehicular assault, DUI and reckless driving.
