Mudslide closes highway Monday

EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- Highway 24 has reopened from Cave of the Winds to Cascade after Monday's severe thunderstorms caused heavy rain over the Waldo Canyon burn scar. Mud and debris flowing over the road caused the closure for most of Monday evening.

Do not drive into areas where water covers the road.
