Massage parlor assault: suspect can't recall what happened

SECURITY-WIDEFIELD, COLO. -- We're learning more about what happened July 22nd when a Security-Widefield masseuse was violently attacked and found bleeding from her head.

El Paso County Sheriff Deputies were called to the 4000 block of Clearview Loop in response to a 911 call from World Massage Therapy owner Jae Cho.

According to arrest documents, deputies found a pool of blood and what appeared to be a large clump of human hair on the property.

Surveillance video from the outside of the massage parlor show a white male, wearing a dark colored t-shirt and khaki shorts approach the front of the building.

After being let in the store by the female victim the defendant is seen attacking the victim physically grabbing, pushing and overpowering the victim in the entrance of the business. The victim struggled to get free and was forcefully shoved.

In the affidavit suspect, 29-year-old Gregory Whittemore, said he was drinking that evening and had called a number of escorts and massage therapy places.

He stated he didn't recall the events of the night, but said the person in the video was him.

Whittemore is facing charges of First Degree Assault, Criminal Attempt (Sexual Assault), and False Imprisonment.
