COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The names of the people who died in the Waldo Canyon Fire are now being identified.

Police identified the people as 74-year-old William Everett and 73-year-old Barbara Everett.

Their remains were uncovered at a home in the 2900 block of Rossmere, police said.

Police said an investigation continues into the deaths. A task force was formed that includes experts in the field of wildland fire investigations.

No other information is being released.
