COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a Fort Carson soldier.
It happened just before 1:00 a.m. Saturday at the Golden Cue Bar located at 2790 Hancock Expressway.
Police said two people were injured in the shooting, and then driven to gate four at the Mountain Post in a private vehicle.
They said the the gate guard then called an ambulance.
According to Fort Carson officials, one of the victims, a female soldier, was taken to Evans Army Hospital where she was treated and released.
Meanwhile the second victim, a male soldier, died on the way to Memorial Hospital.
The CSPD arrested 26-year-old Dwight Gordon Jr Saturday afternoon.
He has been charged with Murder in the First Degree.
