PUEBLO COUNTY, COLO. -- Two teenagers died early Monday morning after the man who was driving a stolen car crashed it while being chased by Colorado State troopers in Pueblo County.

According to troopers, five teenage girls and an 18-year-old man were speeding through Pueblo around 1:49 a.m. Pueblo Police officers called troopers, who saw the car speeding north on Highway 45 near East Spaulding Avenue.

The trooper tried to stop the car, but the driver, the 18-year-old man, didn't stop when troopers flashed their lights and activated their sirens.

The driver then ran two red lights at Highway 50 and kept going north on Wildhorse Road. About a minute later, the driver lost control of the car while trying to curve left and rolled the car.

Three of the five teens were ejected. The driver died at the hospital, and a 16-year-old girl died at the scene. The other three girls, two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old, are in the hospital with serious injuries.
