COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers said two dogs attacked a man and his dog Wednesday afternoon, leaving both with injuries.

Officers did not release much information, but they did say both attacking dogs were pit bulls. The attack happened around 3:18 p.m. in the 2400 block of Byers Avenue in the southwest part of the city.

Officers did not know the extend of the injuries to the man or the other dog.
