COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Three people were taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after the SUV they were riding in rolled several times.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Platte Avenue, just west of Academy Boulevard.
Colorado Springs Police said the SUV was heading east of Platte when the driver lost control, struck the median, and then overcorrected.
They said the SUV then rolled two or three times before coming to a stop.
The driver, along with her two passengers, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators said speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.
