COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man they said beat his ex-girlfriend, then turned violent on himself.
Officers were called to the 2200 block of Friendship Circle early Sunday morning in response to a domestic disturbance.
An investigation found the man had been involved in a fight with his ex-girlfriend, leaving her with minor injuries.

A neighbor who had heard the disturbance arrived to check things out and took the gun away.
Officers arrested 27-year-old Aaron Burch on charges of domestic violence and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
In a separate incident officers also arrested another man late Saturday night for attacking his ex-girlfriend.
Officers rushed to the Shannon Glen apartment complex in the 200 block of North Murray Boulevard after they received a report of a man chasing a woman into the building.
Officers said that the man had gotten into a fight with his ex, but when the woman tried to run away the man grabbed her keys and cell, then attacked her.
Officers arrested Hasani Cruise in connection with the incident.
