COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs School District 11 has suspended two 13-year-old students after they brought an air soft gun to school and shot three students Monday afternoon.

Officials at Galileo School of Math and Science said a 13-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were involved in sneaking the gun onto school property and shooting three students around 12:45 p.m.

None of the students were seriously hurt, but the two students were charged with interference with staff, faculty or student of an educational institution and reckless endangerment. Both were served and released to their parents.

District 11 officials suspended both students and have referred them to the district's disciplinary board.
