COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting outside a southern Colorado motorcycle club.
Friday night CSPD arrested 30-year-old Christopher Mountjoy at the Police Operations Center on charges of first degree murder.
Mountjoy is a Colorado Springs resident, a Fort Carson soldier, and a member of the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club.
Mountjoy is accused of shooting 31-year-old Virgil Means outside the motorcycle club in the early hours of March 3, 2012.
Police said Means got into a fight during a party at the club, and was shot while driving away with a witness.
He later died at the hospital and his death was ruled a homicide.
Mountjoy is a Staff Sgt. with the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to call them at 444-7000 or text them at TIP411.
