GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. (AP) -- Weather forecasters say another half-foot of snow is expected in the Colorado mountains before the latest storm begins clearing out.

The National Weather Service says an additional 3 to 7 inches are expected in the Uncompaghre Gorge area through Friday afternoon.

Forecasters say the storm has already brought more than a foot and a half of snow to some mountain areas.

A few inches of snow are also expected on the Front Range on Friday.
