COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested one man and are looking for another after a strange series of hit-and-run crashes early Sunday morning in the city.

Officers said around 1:59 a.m., a tan Ford Expedition was backing out of a parking spot in the 200 block of North Union Boulevard when the driver hit a white car. The driver tried to leave the scene and hit a tow truck on the way out. The driver also hit a sign and a street light before fleeing with the tow truck driver following.

The driver of the Expedition then ran off the road in the 200 block of North Chelton Road, hitting a building. The driver got our of the car and ran after the Expedition was no longer drivable. Officers were not able to find him but said he was a Hispanic man wearing a white sweatshirt with a large design on the back.

Officers said nobody was hurt in the series of events, the building that was hit is not in danger of collapsing and the man driving the Expedition is still on the loose.
