COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department is on the scene of an overturned milk tanker truck that is leaking fuel and milk on I-25 and Bijou Street.

Authorities said the rollover occurred around 4:20 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities confirmed one person was trapped under the truck following the rollover. That person has been transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Traffic on northbound I-25 was closed at South Nevada Avenue.

I-25 is expected to be shut down for several hours while the accident is investigated by members of the Major Accident Unit.
