CANTON, Ga. (AP) — Autopsy results will be released Tuesday after authorities in Georgia found a body in a trash container believed to be that of a missing 7-year-old girl.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead says a briefing is planned for 10:30 a.m.

Authorities say the body is believed to be that of Jorelys Rivera of Canton, who vanished last week from an apartment complex playground north of Atlanta.

Bankhead has said "everything points to it being" Jorelys. He also said the body appeared to have been severely beaten and sexually assaulted.

No suspects are in custody in the death.

Canton police Detective Candy Worthy says Jorelys was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday at the River Ridge apartments in Canton, about 40 miles north of Atlanta.
