SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, COLO. -- Update:

New details are released about Nico Cruz Santos, the airman who barricaded himself inside a building at Schriever Air Force Base Monday.

Santos pleaded guilty in September to attempted sexual exploitation of a child in Gilpin County.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in December and is facing up to 18 months in jail.

According to Santos' arrest warrant on the sex charge, the airmen contacted a Gilpin County detective who was posing as an underage girl in an Internet chat room in December 2010.

The document said Santos was informed of the pretend girl's age, under 15, but preceded to ask her several sexually-oriented questions including her bra size, and if she had ever been with an older guy.

Santos also asked for naked pictures of the girl.

The two then arranged to meet in Golden to have sex, and that is where Santos was arrested by Gilpin County authorities and charged with Internet luring of a child, and criminal attempt sexual exploitation of a child.

Also in the warrant, Santos told authorities he was "not thinking," and that is why he asked the fake, underage girl to meet for sex.

Santos is currently on suicide watch at a detention facility in Teller County.

Officials have not released details about what charges he may face following Monday's standoff.

Meanwhile, Schriever officials said the handgun Santos used during the standoff is a personal weapon, which are not allowed on base.
