COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- An afternoon fire has destroyed a garage and RV.

It started around noon Sunday in an alley between 15th Street and 16th Street near Old Colorado City.

Officals with the Colorado Springs Fire Department said the fire started in the RV and then spread to the garage and another nearby building.

They said the RV and garage were completely destroyed.

Several roads near the fire were temporarily closed, and around 100 residents were without cable because of a burned line.

The cause is under investigation.
